Salem and Centralia officials have announced closures and trash pickup schedules for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Salem City Hall will be closed both Monday and Tuesday of next week for Christmas and Monday, January 1st, for New Years Day. There will be no trash pickup in Salem on either Christmas or New Years Day, with pickup running one day late the rest of the week. Tuesday landscape waste pickup for January 26th in Salem has been delayed until January 27th. Regular landscape waste pickup will be observed the first week of the new year.
Centralia City Hall will be closed Monday for Christmas and Monday of the following week for New Years. There will be no trash pickup either Monday, with pickup running one day late the rest of the next two weeks.
Area courthouses are closed Friday, December 22nd, and Monday, December 25th, for the Christmas holidays.
There will be no home mail delivery on Christmas or New Years day and financial institutions will also be closed.
