A 42-year-old homeless Salem woman has been charged in Marion County Court with burglary.
Jacklyn Tate is accused of entering a shed at a home in the 500 block of West Park Street on Monday.
Salem Police say they later located Tate hiding behind a building in the 1000 block of East Main.
A public defender was appointed to represent her.
Since burglary is not a crime that a person can be detained under the new cashless bond law, Tate was released with pre-bond conditions that include completing alcohol, substance abuse, and mental health evaluations.
She is due back in court for another hearing on January 2nd.
