At the Kaskaskian in Carlyle, Okawville beat Woodlawn 50-49 and Carlyle over SIUE Charter 59-28. The final day today is set with the 7th place game starting at 3pm with Woodlawn and Hillsboro. Okawville and SIUE Charter play at 4:30 for 5th place, followed by Flora and Greenville for third place at 6pm. The championship will feature Pinckneyville and Carlyle at 7:30.
Pool play finished at the DuQuoin Tournament with Murphysboro beating Cairo 67-40, Herrin over Carmi 60-55 and Chester beat DuQuoin 58-48. The tournament finishes up today starting with the 7th place game at 11 with Cairo and Sesser Valier. Then at 12:30 it’s DuQuoin and Sparta for 5th. Carmi and Chester play for 3rd place at 2 followed by the championship at 3:30 with Herrin and Murphysboro.
The Goreville Round Robin finishes today. Johnston City and Harrisburg start at 1 followed by Hardin County and Anna at 2:30 and then Goreville and Benton at 4pm.
The Hamilton County Tournament finishes today with NCOE and Wayne City at 5pm followed by West Frankfort and Edwards County at 6:30 and then Hamilton County and Gallatin County at 8.
At Trico last night, Red Bud beat Carterville 561-48 and Steeleville over Trico 58-50.
