The Salem Wildcats hit the road to open the Cahokia Conference with a trip to undefeated Breese Central. The Cats are coming off a heartbreaking 42-38 loss to state-ranked St Anthony their last time out and are 1-4 on the season. The Cats are right back in action tomorrow with a trip to the Mount Vernon Shootout when they will take on the Cisne Runnin’ Lions at 3:45 also on WJBD. The host Rams tomorrow will highlight the day of games when they take on Mascoutah.
The Salem Fresh/Soph will play their first home game of the season on Saturday when they host Mater Dei starting at 10 a.m.
Tonight is also a huge South Seven matchup as the Mount Vernon Rams and Centralia Orphans meet at Trout Arena.
The Kaskaskian continues in Carlyle tonight with Woodlawn and Okawville at 6 followed by Carlyle and SIUE Charter at 7:30.

At Hamilton County, Wayne City takes on Edwards County, followed by Hamilton County and West Frankfort, and then Gallatin County and NCOE.
At Goreville, Johnston City takes on Hardin County, Benton plays Harrisburg and Goreville takes on Anna.
At DuQuoin, Murphysboro plays Cairo, Herrin takes on Carmi and Chester plays DuQuoin.
