The Salem Lady Cats felt to 5-2 on the season and 0-1 in the Cahokia Conference with their home loss to Breese Central 47-17. The Lady Cats are back in action Monday on the road out of conference against Mattoon in a game that will be broadcast on WJBD.
The Salem JV also lost 63-21. Brylee Pennypacker led Salem with 8, Allie Hustedde added 7.
The Centralia Annies beat visiting Herrin 46-25. Jalea Shered had 18 in the win followed by Jasiayah Wallace with 13 and Romane Dumay who had 11.
The Sandoval Lady Blackhawks will play tonight at Red Hill. They are coming off a win over Wayne City 59-38 last night. Amiya Ray finished with 23 and Lexi Calhoun 12 as the Lady Hawks are on a 3-game winning streak and 3-6 overall.
