A 40-year-old semi-truck driver from Indianapolis was injured in an early Friday morning crash when his rig hit water on I-57 two miles north of Salem and rolled over.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Deontae Bush was northbound when he lost control and the truck ran onto the shoulder where it overturned on the driver’s side. Bush was out of the truck when emergency help arrived.
He was transported to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response.
The investigation was turned over to State Police since a truck was involved.
The crash occurred at 4:12 Friday morning.
