The Salem Lady Wildcats head to their first volleyball Sectional in 20 years when they head to the Mascoutah 3a Sectional tonight. They will play the 2nd game at 7pm against Freeburg. The opening game will see Mascoutah and Effingham at 6pm.
In 1a Sectional semifinals at Nokomis it’s the hosts and Valmeyer followed by St Anthony and Hardin Calhoun. At Crab Orchard, NCOE plays Carrier Mills followed by Trico and Goreville. At Windsor, Cerro Gordo plays LeRoy and Judah Christian takes on the host Hatchets.
In 2a at Greenville, Breese Central takes on Shelbyville followed by Mater Dei and Staunton. At Pinckneyville, the hosts take on Fairfield followed by Massac County and Carmi.
In 4a tonight as part of the Pekin Sectional, O’Fallon will play Belleville West at Collinsville High. The winner will get the winner of tonight’s game between Minooka and Normal West.
