A 25-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Salem Police for alleged aggravated domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, and violation of bail bond. Police report Alexander Russell of West Elm went to a room at the Days Inn and allegedly got into an altercation with his girlfriend. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. Russell was arrested when located and taken to the Marion County Jail.
30-year-old Blossom Plumb of Gierten Road in Centralia was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Fayette County traffic failure to appear warrant. She posted $300 cash bond and was released.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of a person driving around the Smith Road area of Walnut Hill reportedly firing a gun. No arrests have been made.
