A 44-year-old Belleville man has been found guilty of first-degree murder by a Washington County Jury following a three-day trial.

Kevin Loucks was charged with the murder of 44-year-old Montez Pearson of East St. Louis.  Pearson’s body was found in July near Lunte Creek Road west of Nashville.

Loucks will be sentenced on December 14th.

Two others have also been arrested and charged with the murder.  They are 57-year-old Milton Robinson and 45-year-old Arrion Sanders.  They are both scheduled for separate trials in January.

Loucks was free on bond in Washington County on a pending possession of methamphetamine charge at the time of the alleged murder.

The case was investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police, and the Belleville Police Department.
