The 2a soccer postseason continues with Sectional finals tonight as Columbia and Alton Marquette will play at Althoff for a trip to Supers.
Last night, Teutopolis dropped their 1a Sectional Championship to the hosts at Williamsville 2-0. It’s the first Sectional title for the Bullets since 2013. They advance to Virden North Mac Super Sectionals on Saturday against today’s Murphysboro Sectional championship between Alton Marquette and Columbia in a game played at Althoff.
In the 2a Freeburg Sectional, the host Midgets fell to Triad 2-1. The Knights advance to Friday’s Sectional finals against the winner of Waterloo and Althoff.
