In 2a, Red Bud and Roxana play at Althoff. DuQuoin is the site for Benton and Johnston City followed by Carterville and West Frankfort. Lawrenceville hosts Cumberland followed by Newton and Marshall, TTown takes on Flora at Hamilton County. At massac County tonight, Harrisburg plays Anna followed by Vienna and Eldordado. At Nashville, Carlyle takes on Chester followed by the hosts and Sparta. Vandalia is the site for Litchfield and Greenville followed by Vandalia and Pana. At Wood River, the hosts play Gillespie followed by Piasa SW and Marquette.
In 3a volleyball regional openers, Charleston and Mattoon play at Effingham, Mount Vernon hosts Marion, Cahokia plays East St Louis at Waterloo.
