The IHSA soccer post season continued on Saturday. In 2a regional championships, Althoff beat Mascoutah 3-0 to win the Bethalto Regional. At Waterloo, the hosts beat Anna 8-1.
Tomorrow, TTown will play the hosts at Williamsville for the sectional title.
Sectionals in 2a begin tomorrow. Freeburg is the site for Triad versus Freeburg followed by Waterloo and Althoff.
In 2a sectional semifinals on Saturday, Alton Marquette got 2 goals from Jude Keller in their 2-0 win over the host Devils at Murphysboro. Columbia got goals from Owen Worcester, Liam Bivins and Wyatt Etherton as they shutout Gibault 3-0.
