Tonight is Meet The Bobcats Night at Franklin Park. The boys and girls basketball teams as well as cheerleaders, dance team and band will be performing throughout the evening.
The Selmaville Rockets opened up their season on Monday night with a dominating win over Field 53-7. Corey Cano led the Rockets with 16 points. Jaxon Ward finished with 8 and Logan Butts chipped in with 6. The JV Rockets also won 30-16. Rafe James led them with 11.
Central City boys opened their season on Monday with a 68-19 win over Odin. The Citians JV also were winners 55-15.
North Wamac/Irvington opened their season with a win over Ashley 58-24. Cooper Teaff had 36 points in the win. The JV lost 33-27 behind 16 from Messiah Rigney.
