One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash on Route 37 north of Salem Tuesday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say a car driven by 64-year-old Angela Wyatt of Lakeview Drive in Salem was traveling northbound when she turned into a driveway in front of on-coming southbound traffic. Her car was struck in the passenger side by a pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Austin Black of Linder Drive in Centralia.
Wyatt was transported by United Medical Response to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. Black and a passenger in his truck, 25-year-old Kolton Garcia of East 4th in Centralia, both declined medical treatment.
The Salem Fire Protection District was also called to the scene to assist. All three of those involved were out of the vehicles before the arrival of emergency help.
The crash occurred at 3:40 Tuesday afternoon.
