The Stallion boys fought hard but fell by just 3 points this morning at Trenton. Sr. Elijah Gregory was the race champion, winning the 3-mile race in a time of 16:06! He is having a remarkable Sr. season! His teammate Jr. Zerek Koch had one his best races of the season for the Stallions, medaling and finishing 5th (17:31). Freshman Carson Pigg was battling blisters on his feet and soreness but showed a lot of heart, fighting through the pain and placing 14th (18:28). Jr. Isaiah Lyons grabbed a medal for the 2nd strait race and has been steadily improving, finishing 18th(18:58) and Fr. Wyatt Gregory had a really strong race as well breaking 20 minutes and narrowly missing a medal in 22nd(19:27) to round out the Stallions scoring. Fr Anderson Engele was a solid #6 placing 40th and running a solid time 20:23. And So. Liagel Lyons finished off the race strong coming in 60th (23:06).
The Lady Stallion runners continue to have great races as well. Sr. Sarah McKowen was the race runner up finishing 2nd in an impressive 19:07! Her teammate Jr. Rylee Brammeier also showed out with another great performance finishing 4th (20:59) and medaling.
Woodlawn HS Freshman Zelena Koch also cracked the Top 10 medaling and finishing 8th overall out of 45 Varsity girl runners!
