State Police have released preliminary information on a crash involving a semi and a car on Kinmundy Road just south of Prairie Road in rural Kinmundy.
Reports indicate the semi-truck was making a right-hand turn into a field when for unknown reasons the driver of the minivan attempted to pass on the right and struck the cab of the truck.
The driver and passenger in the car, who have not been identified, were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
The crash occurred at 4:25 Friday afternoon.
