The Centralia Youth Commission’s Fall Bash is on Sunday in Fairview Park.
Centralia Community Development Director Gayla Harting says the group of Centralia students has a variety of activities planned beginning at four on Sunday afternoon.
“We start that at four with a free cookout. We’ll have four tennis courts going with pickleball tournaments. Both sand volleyball lots going with the sand volleyball tournament. We’ll also have about five sets of bags going for a corn hold tournament. The free cookout is put on by the Parks and Rec Committee. This year we’ve added the C-town skate crew with a demonstration as well as a young man that will be putting on a little bit of a dunk show at the basketball courts.”
Harting says there is no cost for anything. They hope members of the community will show up to support the Youth Commission and its activities.
