CORLHS Cross Country Shows Well At Chester Invite

The Christ Our Rock Silver Stallions took to the course for the first time this week this afternoon at The Chester Invitational XC meet held at Randolph Co. State Recreation Area. This meet is ran a little differently as all the runners run together but JV and Varsity runners are given different medals based upon their division and then team scores are figured by overall places.
The Stallion boys placed 5th today and came away with 4 Varsity medalist, while both Lady Stallion Varsity Girls medaled along with Woodlawn High Schools Zelena Koch medaling in the JV division.
CORLHS Cross Country Coach Tim Koch told WJBD/WSIQ, “Overall it was a phenomenal day for our female runners and we had a lot success in the boys race despite not finishing as high in the team standings as we would have liked to but we can use it as motivation going forward!”

Boys- Elijah Gregory 16:50 *2nd place Varsity Medalist-3rd overall
Carson Pigg 18:06 *9th place Varsity Medalist-17th overall
Zerek Koch 18:12 *10th place Varsity Medalist-20th Overall
Isaiah Lyons 19:07 *17th place Varsity Medalist-28th place overall
