The Franklin Park Bobcats baseball team heads to Benton today to take on the hosts in the championship of their Class L regional. The winner will advance to this weekend’s opening round of State in Centralia and will face DuQuoin after they eliminated Johnston City in the DuQuoin Regional title game 5-2.
Also in Class L baseball regional finals on Saturday, Olney beat Flora 9-1.
Today in Class M regional finals at Central City it will be the top seeded Citians who are undefeated this season taking on Nashville at 4:15.
In Class L softball regional finals on Saturday, Olney defeated Mt Carmel 9-1 to advance to the state tournament.
In Class M today, Nashville will take on Woodlawn at 4:15 for a ticket to state.
In Class S regional finals today, Field and Summersville will play at Bluford.
