A 26-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding and felony theft.
Johnny Skurat of South Maple will serve the time concurrently with a seven-year prison term handed down in Clinton County Court in July for burglary and felony retail theft.
As part of his plea in Marion County Court, Skurat will get credit for time served, have to complete six months of mandatory supervised release when getting out of jail, and have to pay a $450 public defender fee.
Skurat admitted to leading Centralia Police on a chase last December where he disobeyed at least two traffic control devices and took a cell phone from an individual. That charge was a felony due to a prior theft conviction.
