The Franklin Park Bobcats head back to Benton today for the Class L baseball regional championship. They will play the hosts after Benton beat Hamilton County 11-1 and Salem defeated Casey Mount Vernon 16-1. The winner moves on to the State Tournament next week in Centralia.
Also in regional finals today at Breese, the hosts take on Carlyle.
The Olney Regionals open tonight with the hosts and Carmi followed by Flora and Mt Carmel with their regional title game to be played Saturday.
In Class M regional semifinals, Central City will host Odin today at 4:15 with Nashville hosting Rome. The two winners play at the higher seeds park on Monday for the regional title.
In Class S baseball, the Selmaville Rockets knocked out Trinity St Mary’s 6-1 to advance to tomorrow’s regional finals where they will get the hosts at Altamont Lutheran after they beat Iuka 10-0 yesterday.
