The Salem cross country teams competed at the Olney Invitational on Saturday.

The boys tied for 5th in the 17 team race. Running number one for the team and 10th overall out of 172 runners was Caidien Beer, followed by Hunter Malan in 12th and Robby Shober 15th.

Maci Thorsen led the girls team to a 9th place finish out of 14 teams taking 20th. Breanna Thurman placed 24th out of 149 runners.

The Wildcats compete this Saturday at the Freeburg Invite.
