The SIJHSAA post season gets going this week. The Franklin Park Bobcats will open up their Class L regional at Benton on Tuesday against Casey Mount Vernon at 3pm. The other semifinal will feature Benton and Hamilton County at 5. The winners will meet for the title on Thursday afternoon in Benton.
Also in Class L, Centralia opens up at the Carlyle Regional tomorrow against Breese at 4pm. The other game is Carlyle and Wesclin. At Olney, on Thursday it’s the hosts and Carmi followed by Flora and Mt Carmel.
In Class M baseball, due to a clerical error, Odin/Patoka has been slotted in Class M instead of S, they will head to the Nashville Regional on Thursday and play at Central City against the Citians while Nashville hosts Rome at 4:15.
In Class S, regionals begin on Tuesday with Raccoon/Kell playing at Iuka with the winner getting top seed Altamont Lutheran on Wednesday. Selmaville will host Field at the Complex while Sandoval travels to Trinity St Mary’s.
