The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats beat visiting Centralia 15-0.  Reagan Shuler was great in the circle striking out 7.  At the plate, Quinn Wolfe went 2-2 with 5 RBI, Emma Lipe had 2 hits along with Alli Thurman and Shuler.  Thurman and Shuler had 2 RBI each.  Teryn Quinn had her first varsity hit.  Salem will host a very good Trinity St Mary’s team today.

The Iuka Lady Pirates beat West Salem 7-0.  Katee Sellers struck out 10 and allowed just 2 hits.  Kenley Cripps and Rylee Wilson had 2 hits and 2 RBI each.  Kenzie McGinnis and Lilly Myers added a hit and RBI.  Emily Jones and Kenzie Collier had 2 hits each.

It was an emotional day at Rome for their 8th grade day as they honored Braden Tate, a classmate who died in October of 2020 when he was just 10 years old.  Both Rome teams wore Tate #6 Jersey’s when they hosted Spring Gardens yesterday. Prior to the baseball announcement, Braden’s parents were honored.  In Tate’s honor, both teams earned short-game wins.
