The east side security entrance to the Marion County Courthouse will be closed again Friday.
Marion County Sheriff Kevin Cripps says the contractors are waiting on the motor that will open the handicapped doors being installed. It was supposed to arrive on Thursday but was delayed.
Cripps says as a result of the ongoing project, employees and those coming to the courthouse Friday will need to continue to use the temporary main entrance on the west side of the courthouse along North Broadway.
The project was scheduled after the old handicapped doors on the east side of the courthouse were damaged in a storm earlier this year.
