Lady Bobcats Honor 8th Graders With Shutout Of Olney
The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats honored their 8th graders in a 10-0 win over Olney. Alli Thurman struck out 3 in the win. She had 3 hits with Emma Lipe and Quinn Wolfe adding 2. Wolfe drove in 3 runs, Lipe added 2 with RBI also from Reagan Shuler and Abigail Thompson.
Lady Pirates Score 20 In Win
The Iuka Lady Pirates beat Bethel 21-2. Kenley Cripps was the winning pitcher with 6 strikeouts. Kenzie Collier struck out 2 in her inning of work. Emily Jones hit a home run, Ava Reed had a base hit and 2 RBI, Grayce Rose also drove in a run.
SCMS Lady Falcons Win Regional Title
South Central won their IESA Regional championship beating St Anthony 5-3. Baylee Brown and Kennah Hiestand each drove in 2 runs with RBI also from Addy Ruholl who also doubled. Maddi Peddicord struck out 16 in the complete game win and allowed no hits and just 1 earned run with 3 walks. SC advances to the St Elmo Sectional on Saturday at 11am to play either Sigel or Paris Crestwood.
Trinity St Mary’s Keeps Rolling
Trinity St Mary’s improved to 10-1 with a 15-0 win over Wayne City. Raylynn Parker got the win in the no-hitter. Rylie Neuhaus had 2 hits including a triple, Emrie Quick doubled and scored twice, Reese Koester also scored 2 runs. The Defenders will play at Odin today.
Selmaville Beats Patoka, Will Honor 8th Graders Today
The Selmaville Lady Rockets will host Sandoval at the Little League Complex for their 8th grade night. The Rockets improved to 14-4 with a 12-0 win in four innings over Patoka. Keira Meredith struck out 10 and allowed just 2 hits. Shelby Johnson had 2 hits, Alana Howe singled and scored 3 runs and drove in 2, Kaoelin Lewis doubled home a run. Talya Gowler also had an RBI.
