A 31-year-old Centralia man has been charged with felony resisting/obstructing a peace officer after allegedly kicking a garage door down on a Centralia Police Officer’s arm.
Centralia Police say they went to the home of Zachery Zeller on South Locust Street to arrest him on an outstanding Clinton County warrant. Zeller reportedly went into the garage, closed the door, and tried to keep police from raising it. After police made entry, Zeller allegedly got into an altercation with them and reportedly kicked an officer breaking his body cam. Police say Zeller was tased before being taken into custody.
In addition to the resisting charge, Zeller was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zeller had no additional bond set on that already set in a felony domestic battery charge. A public defender was appointed to represent him.
