The Salem Lady Cats tennis team knocked off visiting Herrin 5-4. Winning in singles for Salem were Lauren Burge, Shayla Prosise, Marley Donoho and Abigail Patrick. The doubles team of Burge and Patrick were also winners.
In the JV match, Samantha Alli won in a tie breaker. Madison Freiboth won 2 singles matches and Ria Niepoetter also won her singles match.
Salem will travel to the Herrin Tournament tomorrow and to Vandalia on Monday.
