The Salem Lady Cats golf team continues to roll as they beat Mount Vernon at Green Hills 173-216. Alyssa Paul shot 41 to lead Salem; Mya Russell added 42, Mak Mann 45 and Kylie Johnson 45. Salem also got a 46 from Jaryn Haarman and 59 from Brenna Hays. Mount Vernon was led by Cassy Hocking shooting 49. The Salem JV got a 53 from Anneliese Aaron, 54 from Kiley Vieira and 71 from Hannah Duncan.
The Wildcats won their Tri-Match shooting 156, Carmi shot 169 and Gallatin County 181. Rhett Detering was match medalist leading Salem with a 36, Jairen Stroud added 39, Logan Lockhart 40 and Cale Harris and Landen Maxey each shot 41s, Kyler Sapp chipped in a 47.
The Christ Our Rock Stallions golf team competed at the St Elmo Country Club. Altamont came away with the team win shooting 192 followed by Christ Our Rock’s 207 and Windsor’s JV shot 226. Parker Boehne was the medalist shooting 37. Tim Meyer added a 52, Silas George 53 and Tommy Cox 65. Daniel McCammon shot 44 to lead Altamont.
