Police beat for Thursday, September 7th, 2023

Centralia Police have arrested a 43-year-old Centralia man for possession of stolen property. Terrance Laughhunn of West 6th Street was taken to the Marion County Jail.

18-year-old Kalea Ricketts, who told police she was homeless, was arrested by Centralia Police for violation of bail bond.

28-year-old Myra Gallatin of Myers Road in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant on pending possession of meth and controlled substance charges. Bond is set at $20,000.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a vacant home in the 6000 block of Marshall Creek Road in rural Patoka. Entry was gained through a garage door and window. Several smaller items were reported missing.
