33rd Annual Antique Power Days begins four-day run on Thursday

Antique Power Days will include hundreds of old tractors and farm equipment on display.

The 33rd Annual Antique Power Days opens Thursday with a consignment auction and continues through Sunday at the Marion County Fairgrounds.

Hundreds of tractors and other old-time farm machinery will be on display on Saturday and Sunday.   But before that, the Illinois Hot Farm Stock Pullers Association Tractor Pull will be held at seven on Friday night.  There will be a $10 admission to the grandstand.

The Toy Show is being expanded to a third day and will be open in the Exhibit Building from one to five on Friday in addition to nine to five on Saturday and nine to one on Sunday.   There will also be a Toy Show Auction at ten Saturday morning.

The various displays will be open beginning at nine both Saturday and Sunday morning.   The featured tractor this year is John Deere.  There will be plenty of food.  The Southern Illinois Antique Power Club Museum will also be open with various display of living in earlier time.
