Franklin Park competed at the Woodlawn Invitational to open their season on Saturday. The Varsity boys were 2nd overall. Scout Puricelli won the race in 11:23 with Nate Lowry 6th, Jacob Cape 8th, Jacob McIntosh 16 and Abram Jett 17.
The varsity girls were also 2nd with Kendall Zimmerman winning in 12:47. Charlette Johnson was 5th, Kingsley Gansauer 6, Nora Purcell 8 and Addilyn Bumgarner 15.
The JV boys won led by Grant Squibb 2nd, Myles Donoho 4th, Tyson Smith 8th, Grayson Frazier 14 and Noah Smith 16.
The JV girls had a great race with Hadley Allison getting 15th overall.
The Franklin Park cross country teams will host a fun run that will also include Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.
