The City of Centralia issued building permits totaling $263,230 in August.
The largest of the 19 permits was a $113,139 permit for the construction of a solar array at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home at 234 South Elm.
Five other permits were issued with a value of $10,000 or more. A $42,000 permit was issued for a solar array in the 400 block of Cedar Street. The Church of the Nazarene at 1206 West 4th was issued a permit for a new pavilion with a value of $20,000. A $15,000 permit for a house was approved at 615 North Walnut. A $12,334 permit for a replacement fence was approved for a home on Pine Hurst Drive. A permit for a new pool was approved for a home on Evergreen Drive.
Mission Centralia was issued a permit for a ramp at a home in the 1200 block of East Third Street.
There were no demolition permits issued for the month of August.
