The Salem Wildcat golfers compete today at Carbondale coming off a 153-197 win over Wesclin. Salem once again was led by senior Jairen Stroud who torched the course again as the medalist shot 33. Cale Harris 38, Rhett Detering 40 and Logan Lockhart 42. Landen Maxey added 47 and Kyler Sapp 51 in the win.
The Salem JV beat Wesclin 166-175. According to coach Jason Harris, they have been very pleased with the development of the game of Wyatt Rau. It was on display again as he finished shooting 39. Luke Young and Jackson Jarrett shot 41s and Jackson Green 45. Riley Tate added a 50.
The Christ Our Rock Stallions competed at Indian Hills with Waltonville, Fairfield and Woodlawn. Waltonville won the event with a 170 followed by Fairfield 203 and then the Stallions at 211. Woodlawn only had 3 golfers and didn’t have a team score. Parker Boehne was match co-medalist shooting a 40 along with Brendan Klingler and Makabe Devor of Waltonville and Avery Gardner of Fairfield. Woodlawn was led by Logan Heater’s 45.
