A 24-year-old Centralia woman has been placed on two years probation after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to an aggravated battery charge.
Megan Alvey of Bicknell Street admitted to hitting another woman over the head with a metal bar in April 2022.
As conditions of the probation, Alvey was ordered to abstain from drugs and alcohol, have no contact with the victim and pay a $600 probation fee. She will also get credit for time served in the Marion County Jail after being arrested on the case.
