The Wildcats soccer team will play their 2nd of 3 straight days of games when they travel to Valmeyer before hosting Roxana tomorrow morning.
The Cats struggled yesterday against powerhouse Highland losing 7-1. But the one goal was a big one as sophomore Eli Baker surpassed Eli Davis on the career goal scoring list with his 36th goal of his career.
When talking to Baker after the game, he told WJBD/WSIQ that he now can put scoring goals in the back of his mind, and concentrate on continuing to help this very young team with no seniors improve. When asked what’s next, he replied, “Maybe the assists record.”
