The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats are back at it today at home with Vandalia after a shutout win over Patoka yesterday 12-0. Reagan Shuler was tremendous on the mound striking out 8 in the no-hitter. Allison Thurman drove in 3 runs to lead the way. Emma Lipe drove in 2 with RBI also from Breana Pennypacker and Abigail Thompson. Thurman, Lipe and Quinn Wolfe each scored 2.
Yesterday, Iuka fell at home to North Clay 11-9 in a battle. Katee Sellers recorded 10 strikeouts in the loss and had 2 hits at the plate. Emily Jones had 2 hits with 3 RBI, Kenley Cripps added 3 hits and an RBI along with Ava Reed. Kenzie Collier added a single. Iuka will be at the Little League Complex today to take on Selmaville.
The SC Lady Falcons are in action today as they host Beecher City for 8th grade night. They improved to 12-2 with a win yesterday over Odin. The Lady Eagles host Sandoval today.
