Centralia Police have arrested 38-year-old Andre Harris of Melrose Drive for aggravated domestic battery. He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
Four others were arrested on outstanding warrants.
- 45-year-old Lisa Lowery of Woodlawn Drive in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a major traffic warrant and remained in custody Sunday morning.
- 49-year-old Crystal Fields of Richardson Road in Centralia was arrested on a Bond County warrant for driving on a suspended license. She posted $750 bond and was released.
- 19-year-old Joseph Salgado of Clinmar Place in Centralia was arrested by Central City Police on a Marion County major traffic warrant. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
- 35-year-old David Fletcher of Cartter Lane in Kell posted $500 cash bond and was released after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has two burglaries under investigation. A resident reported a door on a home they were moving into in the 5000 block of US Highway 51 in Sandoval was forced open. Since they were just moving in, nothing of value was reported missing. The sheriff’s department and Patoka Police are investigating a storage unit being broken into in the 400 block of Clinton Avenue in Patoka. Locks were cut off to gain entry. There were items reported missing.
The sheriff’s department is also investigating a report of criminal damage to property. A window was broken out of a home in the 4000 block of Sycamore Street north of Salem. The report indicated an electrical box may have also been tampered with.
