A 52-year-old Wamac man has been arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Centralia Police say Jackie Scanlon of Wabash Avenue was arrested during a Sunday traffic stop where he was a passenger. During a pat down, he was allegedly found in possession of brass knuckles. Scanlon was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.
34-year-old Katrina Rinne of South Maple in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. She was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a final decision on charges.
