The Smoke on the Water boat races are underway at Raccoon Lake. Two different contests are being held this weekend. The US Title Series Pro Racing along with the National Boat Racing Association National Championship are being held.
The boats have come from a number of states with more than 100 total entries.
You can watch the boat races from Castle Ridge where a vendor fair is being held on Saturday. The 80s cover band Rat Pack will perform Saturday night. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the performance.
The races wrap up on Sunday afternoon.
