Salem Firemen say a fire in a former soda delivery truck now used as a portable truck washing facility was damaged by fire on Monday.
Firemen were called to the parking lot of the former Pizza Hut restaurant after some of the washing equipment caught fire as a result of an electrical short. The damage was confined to the washing equipment.
The truck is owned by Josh Lingle of Carterville.
