A 39-year-old Salem woman was treated for injuries and ticketed for driving under the influence after running through the front doors of the Dollar Tree store in the strip shopping center next to Walmart early Sunday night.
Salem Police say Brandi Lynn Timm of Northwood Lane ran up the curb, crossed the sidewalk, and crashed through the front doors before clipping the cash registers and coming to a stop. Timm then reportedly tried to back out of the store.
Police report there were employees and customers in the store at the time, but fortunately none were hit.
Timm was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment and later given a notice to appear for driving under the influence.
The crash was reported at 5:44 Sunday evening.
