The Salem Community Activity Center has a new Executive Director.

Kelley Predium has accepted the position.

“I want to continue to market our community building for what it is, and that is an asset to our community.  I hope to increase our events that are offered.  Fundraising is a very important part of this, we are a non-profit.  So in order to keep these doors open to keep home for the girl scouts and boy scouts we need to make sure we are fundraising and providing a good community service utilizing our building.”

Predium feels she is a perfect fit for the job.

“I am from Salem.  I grew up on McMakin Street.  I ran these streets as a kid.  I moved away for a little while but when I came back I realized the one thing that I have to offer is my time and my passion and energy.  And so I felt like this was a great fit for me.”

Predium was honored over the weekend as the Salem Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year.   She is also involved in Keep Salem Beautiful.   Predium is moving from a job at Americana.

Former Director Kia Little recently resigned the position to take another job in the community.
