A 42-year-old Salem man has been formally charged in Marion County Court with a Class X charge of possession of 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

The charge against Curtis Holstlaw of North Trenary follows a traffic stop by Salem Police where Holstlaw was allegedly found with 32.3 grams of methamphetamine in a single baggie.   He also was charged with possession of 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Salem Police conducted a search of the car after the Salem canine alerted on the vehicle.   The traffic stop took place in the Dollar General parking lot around 8:30 Wednesday night.

A passenger, 32-year-old Maleah Durham of West Warmoth in Salem, was arrested on a Clinton County misdemeanor warrant in a retail theft case.   She was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle.
