Three people were sentenced to prison after entering guilty pleas in Marion County Court.
A 22-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to two years in prison for aggravated battery to a child under 12. Ryan Scott of North Beech admitted to striking the child in the face with his hand. Once he gets out of prison, Scott will have to complete one year of parole. He was recommended for the substance abuse program in prison. Scott received day for day good time for time already served in the Marion County Jail.
A 36-year-old Centralia woman also received a two year prison term after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. Carolyn Pribble of East 15th will have to complete one year parole when getting out of prison and was given good time for time already served. Pribble was recommended for substance abuse treatment.
A 43-year-old Centralia woman was sentenced to two years in prison to be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release after pleading guilty to a petition to revoke her probation on a possession of controlled substance conviction. Reda Allen of Circle Drive was also given credit for time already served in the Marion County Jail. As part of the plea, another felony charge as well as traffic cases were dismissed.
