Centralia Police have arrested a 61-year-old Centralia man for possession of a controlled substance, driving on a revoked license, and attempting to flee an officer. Ralph Jones of South Maple was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
33-year-old Jessica Staley of Hester Street in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant in a domestic battery case. Bond is set at $2,500.
19-year-old Dontae Borrage-Caldwell of St. Louis was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Clinton County failure to appear traffic warrant. He was later transferred to the Clinton county Jail at Carlyle.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary and stolen vehicle at a business on Route 37 just south of Salem. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Fayette County. We’ll have more details as they become available.
