A 34-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Salem Police for child grooming.
Salem Police Detectives say Micah Johnson of Clear Lake Drive was taken into custody after being located for questioning on Wednesday. He is accused of sending inappropriate messages via text to a juvenile in Salem.
A family member of the juvenile notified police who began the investigation. The incident occurred earlier this month.
Johnson was taken to the Marion County Jail where he is scheduled for a first appearance in court on Thursday afternoon.
