A 20-year-old Central City man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to felony resisting a peace officer.
Zykevious Burnett of Richmond Heights Mobile Home Park is accused of running from a Centralia Police Officer. When the officer gave chase, he reportedly received a head injury when running into a clothes line.
Burnett was placed on two years probation, ordered to undergo drug and alcohol counseling, and given credit for time already served.
A charge of criminal trespass to state supported property for being on Marion County Housing Authority property where he was earlier banned was dropped as part of the plea.
