A 21-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and a petition to revoke his probation on a prior aggravated battery conviction.

Blake Smith of East Third was given credit for time already served in the Marion County Jail.  He’ll have to complete one year of parole when getting out of prison.

As part of the plea, a charge of possession of between five and 15 grams of methamphetamine and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge were dropped.

The revocation on the aggravated battery conviction was the result of the new arrest for possession of methamphetamine.
