A 43-year-old Centralia man faces multiple drug charges following a traffic stop by Centralia Police Tuesday afternoon. Police say Randall Giller of Wabash Avenue was a passenger in the car that was stopped at 5th and Poplar. He was searched as a provision of his parole and was allegedly found in possession of 18.4 grams of meth, three fentanyl capsules, a spoon that contained what field tested as meth residue, and a hypodermic needle. Giller was taken to the Marion County Jail after being arrested for possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth, meth delivery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a narcotics instrument. The driver was not arrested.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 39-year-old Jasmine Johnston of Airport Road in Salem for alleged possession of under five grams of meth. She was also taken to the Marion County Jail.
A 33-year-old Cairo man, Timothy Vaughn, was returned to the Marion County Jail via prisoner transport on a Marion County DUI warrant. Bond is set at $5,000.
